Dawlish Warren maintains its reputation as one of South Devon's favourite family holiday destinations. The sand-dune backed Blue Flag beach make it ideal for families with young children. There is varied entertainment for people of all ages with both traditional and modern pubs, bars and restaurants which all help create memorable family holidays that will be treasured for years to come.

The Times, Saturday 28th August, 2010 Top 10 Places by the sea - Simon Barnes - Dawlish Warren "A fine place, near Exeter, where you can enjoy crowds of waders and, on good calm days in winter, all kinds of birds that like to sit on the sea: grebes, divers and sea ducks. The walk along the Exe estuary is also pretty fabulous, with great crowds of wintering avocet." You will of course, want to see as much of Devon as possible whilst staying at Dawlish Warren and the resort is ideally situated for you to do just this. You will find that except for high season (late July to the end of August) the roads are reasonably quiet and tourist attractions are not overcrowded.
